Death Star Conspiracy Theory

Presented here are some of the results of my soul-searching regarding this painful event. Like many citizens, I have many questions that I would like answered: was the mighty Imperial government really too incompetent to prevent a handful of untrained nerf-herders from destroying one of their most prized assets? Or are they hiding something from us? Who was really behind the attack? Why did they want the Death Star destroyed? No matter what the answers, we have a problem.

Pittsburgh will rename, renumber confusing streets for safety

Pittsburgh City Council today unanimously passed new rules for naming, renaming and renumbering streets, after ensuring that changes only will occur where police, firefighters and paramedics have had problems finding addresses.

The city of Pittsburgh is not just going to go out and fix every street that has screwed-up addresses, because there are too many of them,” said Councilman Jim Motznik. “We’re going to focus on public safety concerns.”

Solar-Powered Nanotech-Purified Air In Medieval Churches

The glaziers who created gold-painted stained glass windows for medieval churches in Europe inadvertently developed a solar-powered nanotech air-purification system.

According to Zhu Huai Yong, an associate professor at Queensland University of Technology in Australia, the gold paint used in medieval-era stained glass windows purified the air when heated by sunlight.

The Cold, Hard Data of Soda Ice

Depending on whom you ask, either ice-fiends are suckers who pay for frozen water or ice-avoiders are cheapskates with a perverse attachment to warm fountain syrup. To settle this once and for all, we went to a local cineplex and bought three Cokes with varying amounts of cubes at 4 smackaroos each. Then we broke out our thermometers and measuring cups. The cold, hard data says it all.
